By choosing to become a member of Missouri Council for Affordable & Rural Housing (MOCARH) you are gaining access to both state and national representation. For over 25 years, the Council for Affordable & Rural Housing (CARH) has served as the nation’s leading advocate for participants in the affordable rural housing profession including: owners, developers, managers, non-profits, housing authorities, accountants, bankers, and vendors to the industry. There is no other association that solely represents the needs of the rural housing industry.
Missouri Council for Affordable Rental Housing MOCARH) is a non-profit trade organization dedicated to supporting the overall health and viability of affordable rental housing options to support the needs of local communities.
Members include property owners, developers, management companies, site managers, non-profits, syndicators, accountants and companies that supply goods and services to the industry. MOCARH provides education and training on government rules, regulations, resources and processes, in addition to significant discounts on products and services vital to the operation, management and maintenance of rental properties.
Our goal is to help property owners, site managers and site management companies connect, communicate and share ideas to maximize resources, streamline operations, improve occupancy and serve their local communities with affordable housing solutions.
Annual Membership Fees: $200
Any individual or entity involved in the ownership, management, syndication, financing and development of multi-family affordable rental housing projects in the State of Missouri.
Annual Membership Fees: $200 (includes 1 regular member) plus $25 for each additional associated member.
Any partnership, corporation, or organization involved in the ownership, management, syndication financing and development of multi-family affordable housing projects in the State of Missouri. Any individual affiliated with or employed by a Group member, with sponsorship of said Group member, may become a Regular member of the organization. A Group member may have unlimited Regular members from within said partnership, corporation, or organization.
If you elect to join as a Group Member, please provide a list of the associated members of your organization along with contact name, email address and phone number, mailing address and include the appropriate fees being paid for each.
Properties covered by your membership: By joining your properties to the Missouri Council for Affordable Rental Housing (MOCARH), your properties can participate in the Preferred Buyers Program, as well as discounted training courses. The Property Training and Education Fees are assessed at $4.00 per unit. Please attach to this form, a list of the properties you would like to have join MOCARH. Be sure to include the property name, on-site contact name, email address and phone number, property mailing address, number of units and the Property Training and Education Fees being paid for each property.
Annual Membership Fees: $300
Any consultant, engineer, architect, attorney, contractor, supplier, or any other person interested in multi-family rental housing. Associate Members to do have voting rights under the Articles of Incorporation and By Laws of the organization. Associate Members may serve in an advisory position on committees reporting to a member.
